Orange Plants Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy Statement
Orange Plant recognises that Modern Slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights, we are aware that it takes various forms such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. We have zero –tolerance and will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in Slavery and/or Human Trafficking.
We are fully committed to ensuring that there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with any obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers and other business partners. The supplier approval process will incorporate a review of the controls undertaken by the supplier(s). Imported goods from sources from outside the UK and EU are potentially more at risk for Modern Slavery issues. The level of management control required for these sources will be continually monitored.
The company Directors and Senior Management of Orange Plant Limited take full responsibility for implementing this policy statement, they will provide adequate resources, training and investment to ensure that Modern Slavery is not taking place within the organisation and within its supply chains.
Our zero tolerance approach to modern slavery must be communicated to all suppliers, contractor’s and business partners at the outset of our business relationship with them and reinforced as appropriate.
